Debbie Nelson:
Dancing has been a large part of Debbie’s life since the age of 8. Living in Florida, she trained at Academy of Dance in Meuitt Island and continued her training at Mimi Hutson Dance Studio after her family moved to Georgia. She became certified as a teacher with Dance Educators of America in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. After taking a break to start a family, she has been blessed to become the director of Heavenly Dance Steps for the last 7 years. She is supported by her husband Cris, and her two sons Cristopher and Jess. She is eagerly awaiting the next steps God has planned for her life.
Amanda Ashby:
Amanda has been involved with Heavenly Dance Steps for the last six years. She is the teacher for all of the 5-8 year old classes. She has been given the gift to be able to communicate with her students on their level. She loves working with these young students and shares her love of the Lord with them with her enthusiasm and caring spirit.
Holly Stanton:
This is Holly's second year teaching at HDS and she is a wonderful teacher to our 8 & 9 year old class. Holly has bee dancing since she was 7 years old, training in Florida, and later in Georgia. Holly taught dance classes in college until her junior year. Holly and her husband Scott, have three children: Kayleigh, Carter, and Tyler.
Tahilah Taylor:
Tahilah is the newest addition of our staff. She is our 3 & 4 year old teacher. Tahilah has been dancing for the past 6 years. She has previously taken at Arts Alive in North Carolina as well as the Walton School of Dance and En Pointe School of Dance here in Georgia before coming to HDS. She is also very involved in the Dance Ministry at her church, The Father's House, in Norcross. She has an enthusiastic spirit and brings a smile to every students face that she encounters!
